Health Care Providers - The Multimodal Approach
Multimodal care is the combination of therapeutic interventions, or disciplines in the quest to alleviate painful conditions. Chiropractic, Physical Therapy, over the counter meds, prescriptions, injections, etc. In the office that means adjustments, exercise, soft tissue therapy, what you do and how you do or ergo modifications, etc.
We honor our core training by providing the best chiropractic care available. We believe that we are the best at what we do, but we cannot do everything for a patient. When we encounter a health condition beyond our expertise, we are happy to refer to the appropriate provider. In fact, we are proud that we receive many referrals from the medical community and count providers and nurses as patients.
We respect the critical role medical doctors, doctors of osteopath, mid-level practitioners and registered nurses play in directing and managing the health care of a patient. To assist you with the care of your patients, we provide:
-
Treatment for a wide variety of musculoskeletal and some neurological disorders.
-
A comprehensive evaluation of your patient, including a screening for any red flags that would contraindicate our care or warrant further evaluation via the primary provider.
-
A report of our findings and recommendations for care in a timely manner.
-
Therapy that is evidence-based and tailored to meet the patient’s goals and preferences.
-
A follow up report after each treatment trial.
-
Consistently good outcomes.
Each patient has a unique set of needs and preferences which are taken into account in determining the optimal therapeutic approach to help them achieve their goals. All patients are carefully screened to ensure they are good candidates for care. However, if they are not a good candidate for care or prove unresponsive to treatment, we immediately refer them back to their medical doctor.
